New Orleans by way of Lake Conroe

Well friends there are only 4 more days until the New Orleans Rock & Roll Mardi Gras Marathon & Half-marathon. That was a mouth full!  My family and I will be saying goodbye to the Lake Conroe area for the weekend as we head to New Orleans, Louisiana.  I have been training for months and running hundreds of miles in the hopes of bettering my personal half-marathon record.  I'm looking forward to running the 13.1 miles along the Mississippi River and through the French Quarter.  On Sunday from 7-9:30 am if you have a minute, I'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers for the endurance to finish and finish strong!  I'll be sure to come back and update with pictures and hopefully a personal record to boot!
