Lots to do around Lake Conroe!!

After a very busy week in real estate here on Lake Conroe, Mark and I took the evening off and visited the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival.  What a great time we had!!

The entertainment was wonderful.  We saw "Janis on the Rocks".  She is a great Janis Joplin "tribute" singer.  Can she ever belt out some old rock!! 

Next on the stage was Mary Allen Keating as Patsy Cline.  You may know Mary Allen from "Forever Patsy".  She wore a beautiful "Patsy" costume and had a super Texas Swing backup band known as "The River Road Boys".  Mark and I did some boot scootin' to some great old Texas music.  There was plenty of fiddling and steel guitar.  That is heaven to this Texas girl!!!

The Fab 5 came on the stage about 10:30 and did some great Beatle and Rolling Stone tunes.  They really brought the dancers out!!

Of course we made some new friends.  We met a great couple from The Woodlands.  They noticed Mark's Harley shirt and asked if we rode bikes.  Now that was an instant friendship for sure.  We are looking forward to riding together in the near future!!

Today brings some showings in Walden, Bent Water, and maybe even April Sound!!  This day is just perfect for looking at Lake Conroe Homes.
